Question: What are your thoughts on give-a-ways? Do you enter them often? What entices you to enter or turns you off from entering? Have you run your own give-a-ways?
I love a good giveaway! For many of the blog giveaways that I have entered, I have discovered some new brands and products which has been great. I generally enter those that have a prize that interests me. I also like giveaways that aren't too difficult to enter. If there are lots of steps to do, I usually lose interest. Another type of giveaway that I like is one where I can gain entry by making a donation to a charity. Fat Cyclist has hosted some great giveaways for really awesome bikes where entry is given when you donate to Livestrong.
I have run two giveaways so far on my blog. I would like to do more in the future...so stay tuned!
I think the overwhelming response is that if they are too complicated, people lose interest! Winning is always fun :)
